Protection Prayers
MAGNIFICAT
(Repeat 3 times)
My soul magnifies the Lord
And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
For behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name;
And His mercy is from generation to generation
on those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm,
He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
He has given help to Israel, his servant, mindful of His mercy
Even as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his posterity forever.
PRAYER to St. MICHAEL ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
CONSECRATION TO BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
I consecrate myself, my Mother
as a faithful soldier of the Army
of thy Immaculate Heart,
in union with the Angels, Saints
and all the other soldiers,
chosen and prepared by thee
to serve, love and obey thee
in the battle that you fight
for the triumph of the forces of Good
against the forces of Evil,
for the greater Glory of God. Amén.
